Section 10: Settings
About Settings
Use this application to configure the device, set application
options, and add accounts.
To accessing Settings:
From a Home screen, touch
Apps
Settings

From any screen, touch the top of the screen and
swipe downward, to display the Quick Settings, and
then touch
Settings

“Notifications Panel” on page 39.
The Settings screen displays.
Settings Tabs
The Settings are divided into four main groups. When the
Settings screen displays, the following four tabs are located
at the top of the screen.
Connections
Contains settings related to the connection of your device to
external sources. Features include: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Airplane
mode, Data usage, Location services, More networks (VPN),
Nearby devices, and Screen Mirroring.
Device
Provides access to device configuration and customization
features. Features include: Sound, Display, Multi window,
Lock screen, Wallpaper, Font, Notification panel,
Accessibility, and Blocking mode.
Controls
Use these settings to configure Language and input, Voice
control, S Pen, Motions, Palm motion, and Smart screen.
General
This tab provides the ability to create and modify your
accounts (for example, Samsung account, Email, Google
account, and so on). It also provides access to settings for
Cloud accounts, the backup and reset features, date and
time, Accessory, Application manager, Battery,
Power saving mode, Storage, Security, and About device.
