diamond dust. They are engineered for precise,
professional results. If blades feel like they are
pulling or grabbing hair, it means they are losing
their sharpness and should be replaced as soon

Attachment combs should also be replaced if
they are lost or broken. It is easier to cut hair
with the accuracy of a pro when the necessary

Conair makes a variety of accessories for
different haircut kits. If your haircut kit does not

Left and right ear attachment combs provide
effortless, precise cutting around the ears.
Styling clips hold hair in place when you are
sectioning hair. A styling comb makes it easy

SPECIAL OIL
To maintain the blades of your Conair
®
clip-
per in peak condition, oil them before, dur-
ing and after every use. Gently place a few
drops of oil on the teeth of the blades, using
the special Conair
oil included with your set.
Turn the clipper on for a minute, then turn
off. This light, natural oil was formulated
specifically for the Conair
®
high-speed clip-
per. Be cause it is the right oil to use, it will
not slow down the blades. Never use any
other product; there is no substitute for
Conair oil. Keep oil away from children.
DUAL VOLTAGE
For use in the U.S.A., the voltage selector
switch should be placed in the 120V position.
For use in several countries overseas, the
voltage selector may need to be placed in
240V position. Confirm the voltage at each
overseas location before using the appliance.
For connection to a 240volt
supply, use an attachment plug adapter of
the proper configuration for the power supply
receptacle.
WARNING – For a multi-voltage appliance:
adjust voltage setting before connecting ap-

5 DETENT TAPER CONTROL
Just like levers on professional clippers, the
Conair taper lever is positioned at your thumb
so you can hold the clipper in your hand and
adjust the lever at the same time... while
you’re clipping. This taper lever eliminates
the need in some situations for an attach-
ment comb because
it lets you gradually
adjust the closeness
of the cut. For the
closest cut and the
shortest hair, push
taper lever up as far
as it will go to the top
position. To increase cutting length, slowly
push lever down. If you push to the lowest
position, it will leave hair about the same
length as the short
attachment comb.
Because a different cutting edge is used in
each setting, the taper lever lengthens the
life of your blades. Packed-in hair can slow
down any clipper. To remove it without
removing the blades, take your cleaning
brush and brush the hair from the blades.
If you do this after every clipping, especially
with heavy hair cutting, the blades should
remain free of cut hair. If clipper stops cutting
and this action doesn’t help, you might have
to loosen the blades to remove the hair.

Conair ofrece una gran variedad de acceso-
rios para cortar el cabello. Si su juego de
peluquería no los incluye, los puede pedir por

AJUSTE DE LONGITUD DE CORTE

Al igual que las cortadoras profesionales, su
cortadora está equipada con una palanca de
ajuste de longitud de corte que permite aju-
star el largo del corte a medida que corta el
cabello. La palanca de ajuste de longitud de
corte permite cortar
el cabello más corto
o más largo, sin tener
que instalar una guía.
Para obtener un corte
más corto, deslice la
palanca hacia arriba.
Para obtener un corte más largo, deslice
la
palanca hacia abajo. El ajuste más bajo dejará
el cabello tan corto como la guía más corta.
Usar el ajuste de longitud de corte prolonga
la vida útil de las cuchillas, puesto que
éstas nunca utilizan el mismo ángulo para
cortar. Su cortadora puede perder velocidad
si recortes de cabello están trabados en las
cuchillas. Para limpiar las cuchillas sin tener
que removerlas, utilice el cepillo de limpieza
provisto.
Hacer esto después de cada uso, espe-
cialmente cuando se corta mucho cabello,
mantendrá las cuchillas en condición óptima.
Si la cortadora deja de funcionar y que esto
no soluciona el problema, afloje las cuchillas
para limpiarlas.
